Does it send an email automatically?
No — and that's a good thing. Scanning opens a draft with your pre-filled recipient, subject and message; the sender reviews it and taps send themselves.
Which email apps does it work with?
It uses the standard mailto: format that every email app understands: Apple Mail, Gmail, Outlook, Thunderbird and others.
Can I pre-fill only the email address?
Yes — leave the subject and message fields empty and the mail app opens a blank draft addressed to your recipient.
Can I send to multiple recipients?
This generator creates codes for a single recipient, which keeps the QR code simple and reliable. For campaigns, a URL QR code linking to a contact form is usually the better tool.
